Schwiiiing
I feel really pretty and funky today.
My hair was getting heavy and hanging instead of spiking again, so I went to the hairdresser and got it put back into the disorder I enjoy so much! I then went to Shoppers Drug Mart and picked up a Violet-like box of hair dye, and went home to spice things up. It was awesome. I had a glass of wine, made some cd's, played with my cat for hours.... pondered how different it will be having somebody else living with me... getting quite excited at the idea of having somebody around to chat with or watch movies with if the occasion arises.
I think that will be a nice welcome change! I have always said that I didn't think living downtown was for me, that I liked my burbs too much... which is true - but it's grown impractical. It just feels like this is the most logical and natural thing to happen right now!
My second part/time job is that of a 'secret shopper' for lack of a better way to explain it. Companies hire my boss to go to their establishment with a list of things to check out. Clients include everything from restraunts to sports events to concerts. For instance: Go to Earls on this day during the dinner rush, sit at the bar and order appies, etc etc etc. They have us checking everything from making sure that drinks are rung into the computer, to the speed of service - so they know what needs attention. Orca Bay is a client, as well as other neat companies like Cineplex Odeon. I get my meal/ticket/etc paid for - as well as an hourly wage on top of that. Head office is in Kits, so I'll be nice and close to that as well with my move.
Things just feel so perfect, and I feel really happy with my life... more than I think I ever have, come to think of it.
I feel loved, I feel respected as a friend, and most of all I feel appreciated.
Thats such a nice feeling, and it really gives me peace of mind.*sigh*
Life is good, folks, life is good
Tonight is 5X5 at 555 Vibes. 5 Bucks, 5 dj's, 5 free cd's. Should be fun!
